HEALTH - BLOOD PRESSURE-

Go for Purple food-
it may be because the ANTHOCYANINS they contain increase the output of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Examples of purple food-
- blackcurrants (छोटी काली खाद्य बदरी)(કાળી દ્રાક્ષ()(black draksha)
- raspberries
- aubergines (brinjals) (રીંગણું) (Vankai, వార్తాకము, వంకాయ)
- blood oranges
- blueberries
- beetroot (it contains dietary nitrates, which have an even more potent effect on blood vessels)

Other lifestyle preferences:
- Exercise strengthens the heart
- Salt intake to be reduced. Salt draws in fluid, raising the volume and pressure of blood in arteries. Bread, sauces, breakfast cereals and ready meals contain salt. A useful guide- label showing more than 1.5g salt per 100g is too much and less than 0.3mg per 100g is a little.
- Go for Fruits and Veggies. These contain blood pressure lowering substances, such as potassium, magnesium and fibre.
- Curb the booze.
